CK101 Computing For Kids 7 to 14
Specially designed to get them interested and love IT from young.
This programme is specially designed to make learning about computers fun. At the same time, it teaches the basic thinking approaches that will help in programming, troubleshooting, etc.
All the lessons are told in the form of a story of an alien landing on Earth. The alien is used as a symbol of technology.
Lesson One: Introduces the child to what a computer actually is made of.
Lesson Two: Gets the child to start operating the computer and teaches safety measures.
Lesson Three: Begins to let the child use the computer to print and navigate through the virtual environments.
Lesson Four: Gets a bit more challenging as the child needs to send an email and gets his or her touch of the Internet.
Lesson Five: Focuses on Social Media, its good, its bad and ugly side. Online safety is taught thoroughly.
Lesson Six: This is the advanced part of the course. It gets the child to start to think in terms of programming logic.
